Under the motto "Connected together - generation NRW" it becomes clear: We are 18 million! The countless opportunities in the areas of education, security, work, culture, nature and many more come together in NRW.
Various ministries, the state chancellery and the state parliament will be represented on the State Mile in Cologne's Rheinauhafen. The Ministry of the Interior will also be providing insights into its diverse areas of responsibility. From A for official surveying, P for police and V for constitutional protection to Z for civil defense, the varied areas of responsibility of the Ministry of the Interior will be presented.
This year, the Ministry of the Interior will once again be working with the Cologne Police Headquarters to design the police section of the Blue Light Mile for the NRW police. There will be exciting insights and presentations for everyone, young and old alike. The police will be on site with the latest technology and will be presenting the patrol car of the future. The "floating watch" of the water police - the police boat "WSP 9" - will dock on the Rhine and invite visitors to take a tour of the boat. Various police emergency vehicles can also be explored. The phantom sketch artists will show how a sketch is created. On four paws, the service dogs demonstrate what they can do. And for the little ones, there will be a participation theater of traffic accident prevention.
