The head of the police department in the district of Viersen is Senior Police Director Sebastian Wessel. He is supported by the management staff. This includes the Press and Public Relations, Strategy/Controlling and Central Quality Assurance departments.
The management staff advises and supports the Head of Police Department in all central management tasks and is responsible for matters of principle and cross-directorate issues in the areas of strategy and controlling. The Central Quality Assurance Office is also attached to this unit.
