(hd) A traffic accident occurred in Herford on Thursday (30/01/2025) in which one person was injured. An 83-year-old man turned off the parking lot of a car dealership onto Engerstraße in his Opel car at around 4:00 pm. For reasons as yet unexplained, he steered his vehicle to the right again immediately after turning. As a result, the car collided with a VW parked on the side of the road. Both vehicles were damaged. The total damage is estimated at approx. 7500 euros. The driver sustained minor injuries and had to be treated in hospital.
